Unique book on customer service in the world of insurance claims
I highly recommend this book for anyone faced with the challenge of delivering exceptional customer service in the insurance claims industry. It teaches proven techniques for communicating effectively, gaining trust through empathy, and time management. It is the only book I've found that applies these techniques to the unique situations faced by claim handlers everyday.
More like a long magazine article than a book
This book started out as a series of magazine articles and was stretched into book form. Remember that term paper you had to do in college that was supposed to be 75 pages and you only had 30 pages worth of research?
So, my beef is not with the content but rather the price. $30 is about 25 more than it deserves. Nevertheless, if you're in the industry, the book has sound advice and easy to understand examples. It's very easy to read and you'll learn something doing it.
