I love this brush, my dogs love this brush. It is a win win for all of us.

I have two Jack Russel Terriers. Anyone who knows anything about this breed knows that they shed constantly! I went through several brushes purchased from places like Petsmart. It wasn't that the brushes didn't work, because they did, it was getting my ADHD pets to sit long enough to let me brush them. I don't have that problem with the Furminator. They sit happily and look up at me when I clean off the bush asking for more. Plus, and this is the important part, it works. I generally have a couple of weeks of low shedding after I bath them and use the Furminator. Which is awesome! In the summer I bath my pets about once a month, and I use the Furminator after bathing and in between baths.. To keep up with the shedding. My only complaint about this product is that I have to clean the blade so often. One or two brushes and I need to pull off dog hair. But I can live with that, if it means living with less hair. I have allergies and I find that this really helps with my pet dander allergies.

Greatest Tool for Animals
I recently purchased a furminator to use on my horse. It works better than any curry that I've used on him. The hair just falls off in clumps. I also have friends that bought a smaller version for their cats and dogs and also was extremely satisfied with the results. I would recommend the furminator for anyone that has animals....it works GREAT!

The BEST PRODUCT I spent on my dogs.
This is the best deshedding tool. It's easy, removes lots of hair and undercoat. I am very pleased with it. If you have small dog then small furminator would be ok. I have two Labradors Retrievers so I needed the biggest blade. I used to have lots of hair from both of them and now hardly nothing. Do make sure you use it every week at the beginning to get rid of all the hair and undercoat, after that it should be easy.
