Why Does Chlorine-Free Matter?
Your choice of our chlorine free diapers could help reduce cancer rates. Your choice of chlorine-free diapers helps reduce the amount of dioxin polluting our air, water and soil, and helps make the world a safer, healthier place for your family and generations to come.
When chlorine and chlorine derivatives are used in industrial processes (such as bleaching paper and wood pulp), they produce substances called chlorinated hydrocarbons, which persist in the environment, accumulate in animals and people, and can be toxic to human and environmental health. The production of chlorine can also release the toxic metal mercury into the environment.
If every household in the U.S. replaced just one 40-count package of conventional diapers with these chlorine-free diapers, we could avoid 133,000 pounds of pollution from entering the environment.

Customer Reviews
Needs Work
We have used the 7gen diapers in sizes 2-4 for quite sometime and have been pleasantly satisfied with its performance on our older kid (see past review). With our new arrival and 7gen now making the N size we got a case of them instead of Pampers Swaddlers as we did with the last kid. Big mistake! Constant !@#$ leaks! The 7gen just don't fit well. They lack enough elasticity and shape. The fit is really baggy. We all know how newborn poop is and it ain't forgiving like older kid poop. There is no cord cut out. They definitely aren't as soft as Pampers Swaddlers. I want to do what I can to save the environment but having to do extra laundry because of diaper leaks isn't the way. For those apologists that say "all diapers leak, at least you are helping the environment" I don't think have really tried these diapers. ALL diapers don't leak. I haven't met a parent that would stand for a diaper that consistently leaks. We all know it is a terrible experience for us and most importantly the baby. 7gen can make them better especially since the only "green" difference is that they didn't bleach the diapers with chlorine. They still use the same crystalline absorbancy material. Don't let them off the hook. The basic technology is the same the execution is lacking.
I really think these are great,
I used many different brands of dippers for my daughter, but once I found these I stayed with them. You will have leaks with all dippers when you have a new born because their stool is so loose... there is little you can do. Even the top brand names leak. Now these may not be totally environmentally friendly as one would hope for, but for the environmental benefits you do not have to sacrifice anything! I think I would start with statge 1 though because you get more for your money and they are good for 8lbs and up. Now I don't know if it was just coincidence but I really found less dipper rash once I switched to these. Now I am having another baby and I know what dippers I am getting from the start this time.
Question about Newborn diapers
Can anyone tell me if the size Newborn have an umbilical cutout? I haven't been able to find them locally and I got no reply from the company. Thanks!
