Never Say Never 4
After many years of waiting on her long time fiancé to finally set a date Desiree, a paralegal with dreams of becoming a lawyer, finally decides enough is enough. As she works her way through the disappointment and heartache of a love lost, Desiree is assigned to a white attorney who is making a name for himself in the firm they both work for. Tyler's thoughtfulness is the first thing that stands out as he and Desiree work together on a big case. Different backgrounds and baggage are nothing as the two slowly become enamored with each other. Emotions Desiree is unsure of how to handle considering her background and her knowledge that her family and friends won't be as welcoming to the idea of her seeing a white man. Tyler is unwilling to be a closeted secret and Desiree will have to decide what's more important, her growing love for Tyler or her family's prejudice to a man who loves her better than she's ever been loved before.

In a story where race is the main obstacle, Never Say Never, is another story in the ever growing interracial market where without the drama of racial prejudice there isn't much else to the actual plot. Michele Cameron is a decent writer I personally just believe the racial aspects of interracial love affairs have been done so much that that the it has lost its excitement. Desiree for a woman who seemed to be polished and intelligent really deferred to her family a little too much when it came to matters of the heart. Tyler was a gentleman but also a man with his own mind, unwilling to allow anyone else's views to dictate if he would date Desiree, which made him extremely appealing as the male lead in the story. I'm hoping if Ms. Cameron decides to do another interracial love story she will create one where the story has a focus other than race.

Finally Something that I can relate to!5
This novel is based on a interracial relationship. I have never read one of these kinds of books before but I am so happy that I bought this. It was so realistic as it deals with the stereotypes people have about this. It also deals with sexual harassment, something that happens every day in the workplace and it touches on the down low man. The relationships between the family members is hilarious and the failings of the main character Desiree is realistic. I can't wait for the next book from this author!

Never Say Never5
I have read several interracial romance and I have to say by far this is one the best that I have read. I purchase this book while I was in Chicago. Talking to friend of mine she was telling me about the book and I have to say that the way she describe the character is what got me and I went out and purchase the book. I love me some Tyler.
Desiree is woman who dreams of becoming an attorney. Desiree has been in a relationship with her boyfriend for 6 years and 3 of those years they was engaged. Desiree is at a point in her life where she is ready to get married and she confront her long time boyfriend who is not ready and comes up with all kind of reason for them not to get married, so Desiree make the only decision she could make they break up. Althought Travis just think Desiree need some time apart and that once she has calm down thing will go back to the way they was little to Travis know.

Tyler is a up and coming lawyer who works with Desiree on a case. Although Tyler has been flirting with Desiree he decided one day to bite the bullet and ask Desiree out of course this takes her by surprise so she doesn't know how to handle the situation. Now remember Desiree is working with Tyler so she thinking this is not a good thing for them to do. At this time you will see that they are attracted to each other and neither one plan for this to happen. Onec they decided to get to know each other and see where the relationship is going the couple begin to tackles all of the stigmas and taboo's of white/black dating as well as extended families. Tyler's divorced with two kids, secure, strong and don't take no mess from anybody and that include Desiree.

Can't give to much a way, but I recommend you read this book. If you love a truly good love story you will love this.
