May seem cliche but hey who the hell cares.These are awesome films that used cutting edge CGI,and unlike the last Star Wars installments the special affects were not the main attracion here.Mr Jackson keep up the great work!!

No fifty best films list is complete without this film.Gritty and extremely violent this is the film that gave Quentin Tarantino the chance to show how talented he really is.In my opinion one of the most qoutable films ever.A must see.

Another film that may seem cliche, but like I said with Lord of the Rings who cares!!The First two are obviously the best but the third one is entertaining in its own way and they had to end it some how.Great direction and some of the best acting featured in any film todate.

One of the greatest scince fiction trilogies ever made.There are some flaws but they a few and far between another favorite from my childhood particularlly Empire Strikes back with the history making ending.There is not much more I can say about the classic just see it for yourself if you haven't already.

A very poignant drama about how diamonds get from the mines to a store,but more importantly about what the people that mine them have to go through and the turmoil in africa that is going on to this day.In one word AMAZING.

The biggest boxoffice film of all time,and it is not hard to see why with the lavish sets and costumes, wonderful direction by Jim Cameron and worthy preformance by the two doomed lovers.You will not be dissapointed by this film!!

The best western ever made!No DVD collection is complete without this gem of a film Gary Cooper gives an inspiring preformance as the lone sherrif that stays behind.A movie about morals and how far should you allow others to go before you step in.

High octane action from hong gong director John Woo.So explosive at the end you feel as if you have had a shock to the heart.Redifined the action genre and opened up the door for so many other films of this caliber to be made (the rock,con air and enemy of the state just to name a few).

Tom Cruise shines is this romantic drama that defined the genre.Rene Zelwegger gives one of her best preformances as well.I will admit that I am a guy and this is one of my personal favs just shows what love can enable someone to do or make them realize that what they wanted to start with was not worth going after.

You either love this film or you hate it.Personally I love it, it can get explicit at times but real life is not censored we can not run from it so the best hope we have is to embrace it all parts.Of course the ending I will admit is a little bit extreme but as a whole one great film.

One of my personal faves.This film centers around one man Andy Dufrane and the prison that he is sent to for the alleged murder of his wife (he is innocent of course and prison is hell) has one of the most famous shots in movie history with andy holding his hands up to the sky in the pouring rain while lightning flashes all around.Should have won the best picture award!!

Brought back the Saturday serials that were popular in the thirties and fourties and launched Harrison Fords career.My favorite is and will always be Raiders but the others are worthy installments as well.
