Seventh in the series. Players assume the identity of teenage super-sleuth Nancy Drew as she rushes to help a friend tormented by a pack of phantom hounds. Players must pick up the cold trail left by a sinister character from long ago in this intriguing 3-D interactive mystery as they solve cryptic puzzles, search through shadowy woods and creepy old houses, interview a cast of suspicious characters, and dodge danger to sniff out the truth behind local legends. Players can get in-game assistance by phoning Nancy's friends Ned, Bess and George, as well as Nancy's longtime sleuthing partners, The Hardy Boys. They can also explore 200 hot spots that give players more clues, and use the in-game Journal Mode to track their progress. Long dead, Malone, a notorious gangster, once lived in the lakeside cabin recently purchased by Nancy's friend. A fun, enjoyable game
I bought this game, not having played the Nancy Drew games before. I'd read the books as a child, and the games are good extentsion of that. This game was fun, and enjoyable. It has a good storyline, lots of puzzles, and quite good graphics. It wasn't easy to complete, took a week or so, but I had fun while I was working out the puzzles, and exploring many parts of the Nancy Drew world. I would recomend this to anyone who enjoys computer games, especially girls.

This game is my fav one out the ones i've played. Their parts that make you jump, but in every nancy drew game there is. The bad guy was wow you would not the it was him/her. IF its your first game to get it might be creepy. I give it a 10. Its a good game

AWESOME!!!
This was the first ND game that I've played, but it was AWESOME!!! The graphics, plot, puzzles, etc. were all really great. I especially liked the ending scene. It was packed with action and wrapped up the game really well. Overall, it was just a great game!
