From the Manufacturer
In 1899, Oliver Lavisheart, a young adventurous Englishman, accepts to help his uncle Mathew win a bet: going around the world in 80 days or less to collect proof that the wacky uncle has created four major inventions in four different cities all around the world. Oliver follows Phileas Fogg's tracks through Egypt, India, Japan, and finally to America. He has only 80 days, or his uncle will lose his bet and be ruined.

For this trip you will become Oliver, discover your uncle's fantastic talents, his adventurous life, and his secrets. You will also learn a lot about yourself, the truth about your family and the true nature of this incredible bet.

As the game progresses you will help a strange German Archeologist, rescue a distressed actress from Bollywood, organize a SM contest, win an elephant race, drive the biggest airship ever, find a way to make the Scottish tartan the coolest street wear worldwide, fool a shogun's samurai, burn your own boat to go faster, avoid the traps of inspector Fix's nasty son, get into disguise, bribe, steal...

Customer Reviews

Silly, but fun and beautiful4
80 days creates a beautifully designed 3-D world with a strong Art Nouveau aesthetic. The game play is not too difficult and the humor is very silly--mainly involving anachronisms and jokes about Scotsmen and kilts. Although the game engine is not "state of the art," the production values--music, voice acting, and localization are all very good. Frogwares is a company to watch if you enjoy period adventure games set in 3-D environments.

i finally gaveup on this game unable to make it run properly i got the latest windowxp intel 2core 2.2 mghs with 2 gig memory also nvidia drivers for my video card geforce 8500gt this game froze after each ending and every restart had to re enter all the drivers a real nuisance so i put it away for ever. bye george

This game would have been much more fun and easier to play if you could control everything with the mouse, versus having to use your keyboard.
