![]() | Wii
Buy used from: $288.94 This one's a given. If you want to get the most out of your Wii, then you kinda have to own a Wii.
![]() | Wii Remote Controller
Buy new: $39.99 / Used from: $27.95 Because it's impossible to get the most out of the multiplayer joy that is the Wii with only one Wii-mote.
![]() | Wii Nunchuk Controller
Buy new: $19.99 / Used from: $15.99 Read: Wii Remote. Subsitute: "Nunchuk" for "Wii-mote".
![]() | Wii Play with Wii Remote
Buy new: $49.99 / Used from: $14.99 Like the simple joys of Wii Sports? Want more of the same, and another Wii-mote to go along side of it? Enough said.
![]() | Wii Charge Station
Buy new: $24.99 / Used from: $18.99 Because Wii-motes eat up batteries like a muthachucka.
![]() | Wii Zapper with Link's Crossbow Training
Buy new: $19.99 / Used from: $14.76 Becuase you're a Zelda nut, much like I am and you would've purhcased the game by itself and the Wii Zapper is just a bonus.
![]() | Wii Classic Controller
Buy new: $19.99 / Used from: $14.99 Because the SNES rocked and this is as close as you'll get for playing the VC titles.
![]() | Super Mario Galaxy
Buy new: $49.99 / Used from: $33.57 This game just rocks. Everything from the graphics and sound to the level design and the gameplay is superb.
![]() | Wii Perfect Shot Gun
Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $124.44 In my opinion, the top of the line for Wii gun peripherals. It also features a port (where the magazine would go) to attach the Nunchuk. Please note, if you own both, use this and give the Wii Zapper to your friend.
![]() | Endless Ocean: Dive, Discover, Dream
Buy new: $29.99 / Used from: $19.99 It's simple, there's no time limits or any real pressure to complete objectives ... sooooo ... what's the point? This game is a fantastical underwater world and that's very simple to control and the whole family can enjoy. You might learn a thing or two, as well!
![]() | Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08
Buy new: $49.99 / Used from: $39.97 Because simulated golf with a $250 system and $50 piece of software is a heck of a lot cheaper than machines that probably run in the thousands and take up 50 times as much space.
![]() | Wii Points Card
Buy new: $19.99 / Used from: $15.98 Because nobody bought the Wii just for the new gen. It's preferrable to buy the points for Virtual Console games directly via the Wii Shop Channel, but this works perfectly as a gift or in the absence of a credit or debit card.
![]() | Super Paper Mario
Buy new: $49.99 / Used from: $28.00 It's fun, it's quirky, it mixes up the platformer with "2.5 D" (you must switch back and forth between 2D and 3D), and, to be honest, it's Mario.
![]() | Mercury Meltdown: Revolution
Buy new: $19.99 / Used from: $11.24 Great use of the Wii-mote. Have you ever played those Labyrinth games where you tilt the board and roll the ball to the end without dropping it in any of the holes? Yeah ... they upped the ante.
![]() | The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Buy new: $49.99 / Used from: $33.99 Do you have to ask? It's Zelda. Spectacular story, excellent graphics, new touches to the gameplay, and use of the Wii-mote set this game up near the top of the class.
![]() | Wii Classic Controller Grip
Buy new: $9.99 In order to use the Classic Controller for your Virtual Console games, it must be plugged in to the Wii-mote (through the Nunchuk port. This give you not only a more secure grip on the controller, but a way to tie everything up into a nice tiny package.
![]() | SanDisk SDSDG-2048-A11 2GB SD Gaming
Buy new: $28.06 / Used from: $17.50 You'll eventually run out of room on your Wii with the game saves and the loads of Virtual Console titles. Use this to save your data and you'll never get confused as to just which SD card has your Wii data on it.
![]() | Wii Lan Adapter
Buy new: $24.99 / Used from: $15.49 Becuase not everyone has wireless.
![]() | Resident Evil 4
Buy new: $29.99 / Used from: $20.00 This game was so magnificent in every way, despite being the port of a port which was, obviously, not originally made for the Wii. Despite being a third-party game, it nailed the controls for the Wii. I found this game so spectacular that it both made me a fan of the series and inspired me to write my first ever game review.
![]() | The Godfather: Blackhand Edition
Buy used from: $19.98 I feel that this, along with Resident Evil 4, is one of the best port for the Wii. Too often have games come out and then later came to the Wii only to have an absolutely brutal control scheme.
![]() | Zack & Wiki Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure
Buy used from: $14.48 There's not a game on the market that makes not only good, but varied use of the Wii-mote.
![]() | No More Heroes
Buy new: $29.99 / Used from: $23.51 It's nice to see a game with some mature themes make it's way to the Wii. Just like The Godfather, No More Heroes is not afraid to drop the occassional F-bomb. Some of the kills are God of War-worthy and Suda 51 continues their tradition of fantastic art direction.
