First manufactured in 1936 during Art Deco's later, less ornate phase, Fiestaware went out of production in the 1970s, returned in the 1980s, and now enjoys unprecedented popularity. Older pieces fetch hundreds or even thousands of dollars at auctions. The new line offers the original designs in contemporary colors at affordable prices. With signature concentric rings around the rim, this turquoise, 12-by-6-inch bread tray mixes and matches with other Fiestaware dinnerware. It can be used to serve fruit, vegetables, candies, and nuts as well as bread items. I use these plates all the time
The Fiestaware bread tray is almost identical to the discontinued Omelet plates that Bennington Potters used to make. It is an amazingly useful design. Perfect for omelets, burritos, soup [in a deep bowl or large cup] and salad/sandwich combos, two item lunches... etc. Much better than putting a couple things on a small round luncheon plate...on this, each is able to occupy it's neat separate half of this oval plate. Oh, and lets not forget it's great as a bread plate.

Fiestaware is great
As always, Fiestaware is great. This product holds up well and looks great. This was a lovely addition to my collection. Fiestaware always makes food look more appealing with it's bright colors!

This bread tray is perfect plum!! The color is amazing, and the tray is so useful for so many things!! Get several of these!
