the strap is shaped like an upside down T, so the instructions say to attach the latch strap buckles from the carseat at the 3 ends of the traveling toddler strap (2 ends attach around the sides of the luggage and the middle strap goes over the top of it). but the car seat i had (and the various ones my sisters' let me try) only have 1 strap with 2 buckles on the ends. so i didn't have the top strap to keep it securely balanced, which sucked when i first put it together because my son was dead asleep and his head was so far tilted to the side that he tipped the whole thing over. thankfully, he wasn't hurt (only upset because he woke up) but it shows the flaw in the design. i figured out how to get the perfect balance to where he didn't weeble and wobble but it still felt a little unstable without the top strap. but it was a hell of a lot easier than trying to carry a carseat, luggage, bookbag, and hyper 3 yr old by myself through numerous airports. i'll definitely keep using it, but i'm looking into buying another latch strap/buckle for the car seat to make it better.

tricky at first but got the job done
I bought this product because of the price. For the most part it got the job done. It was terribly tricky to get hooked up to my car seat. Also good to know is that it uses the straps from your car seats latch system. Don't buy this if you have an older seat or a seat that is without those. Once I finally got my seat hooked up to my luggage pulling this around the airport was a breeze. Notice though that I say pulling. I had to pull it rather than push it. Due to the weight of the items in my carryon and the weight of the car seat I never did end up putting my little one in her seat while it was strapped to my suitcase. Overall I am content with the product but not thrilled with it. It made transporting the car seat easy but I still ended up having to hang on to my little one.

Must have
We got this for a trip including changing planes. It worked well and we were glad to have it. Only complaint is that it is a bit of a pain to stop and attach it every time you get off the plane, through security, etc... We will use it again, it is useful and nice to have. Did not use it as a stroller, only attached it to the luggage to carry it
