Great book if you can find a copy
Information-packed book on all 4 wheeled models through the 1980s. Thorough description of the cars' development and evolution are given. The best feature of the text must be the hefty section devoted to contemporary road test reports. Generous excerpts from major US and UK auto magazines are given for all models. Very interesting see how Morgan models of different vintages were received when they were new. One of the more amusing of which was the suggestion by a UK writer that a 1954 +4 TWO SEAT roadster should be a tempting option to a family man owing to the ability to accomidate small children in the shelf space behind the bench seat! Also included are sections devoted to restoration, competition history, and preparation for motorsport. Weaknesses: (1) no coverage of three-wheeled models, (2) the selection of color photographs is a little skimpy, and (3) probably not worth the $160 being asked for a used copy on this site at the moment.
