Written by members of the Apple development team responsible for the API, at the time of publication the book was an exhaustive treatment of the subject (but a lot has changed in Core Graphics in the last 2 years).

Buy used from: $6.47 The iPhone SDK (beta!) is brand new, and this book is due to be published less than 2 weeks after its release. I suspect the book is a rush job and will have very little information about the iPhone SDK or the Cocoa Touch APIs. Learn Cocoa through one of the other books listed above, and learn iPhone specifics from Apple's documentation.
