Product Description

The BIO-Q Ring detects stress-caused changes in finger temperature (caused by constricted blood vessels). Clients and patients use it to catch stress-induced drops in finger temperature before the stress sets off symptoms. Instead of an awkward-looking electronic thermometer or a breakable glass thermometer, the ring is fun and comfortable to wear. It turns the fun concept of the mood ring into a scientific device that uses the world's smallest self-contained precision thermometer. How it works: Read the ring like a clock, with 1:00 being the coolest temperature (Stressed= 67 degrees) and 12:00, then the center being the warmest (Relaxed 96 degrees). The BIO-Q Ring's clock face has 13 precision liquid crystal chemical formulations set to "light up" with color at precise temperature ranges, so the ring will show subtle changes in finger temperature, as small as 0.5 degree F. Rings are available in Small (size 6) Medium (size 8) or Large (size 10) Gold plated or silver-color plated. (Medium silver on back order)

Not a Mood Ring; Great Biofeedback Tool5
This is NOT a mood ring. Those were OK, like pet rocks and other fad "toys". This is completely different.

One of these rings was given to me by a psychologist who was training me in biofeedback. It is great to have an inexpensive, portable tool for measuring warmth of one's fingers (and ergo, one's tension or relaxation). I wore it before major surgery and it helped me relax. Just concentrate and the numbers will go up. It's amazing how much conscious control our minds have over our bodies. It's also kind of fun to watch the colors change. Before my surgery the anesthesiologist and the surgeon both wanted to try it out. I lost mine so I'm buying another one.

mode ring or not?5
THis is not a mode ring. It dos a great job of indicating my stress level. I find it helpful to keep me relaxed at work. Very durable.

Every dot you move to is two degrees Fahrenheit4
Every dot you move to is two degrees Fahrenheit. Warm hands means little stress is in your body. Cold hands means the opposite. If the green dot is in the 12 o'clock possition then your tempature is 96 degrees. There is no 98.6 position. The 1 o'clock position means your hand are in the 60 degree range and that's bad news.
If you buy one and want to wear everyday, consider buying two in different colors. The rings come in silver and gold. This is my second week with the one ring I have. From wearing all day a couple of times. I am finding my more stressful times are waking up and getting ready for work and at work. My least stressful times are weekend TV watching, waking up on the weekend, and driving. It's not a very pretty ring so I wear it on my right hand because it is bad match for my wedding band
My other sugguestion is to get your correct ring size for a place that sells jewerly
