About the Author
Kytka Hilmar-Jezek is a Reiki Master/teacher, a Doctor of Naturopathy and has a Ph.D. in Religious Studies. She is an author, educator, life coach, tutor, home school and raw foods consultant, full time stay at home mother of three and Reiki practitioner with over 12 years experience in alternative healing & lifestyle.

For the past 15 years she has been writing on the subjects of home birth, natural parenting, home schooling and raw foods. Her articles have been published in numerous magazines, newsletters and web sites. She has her own column entitled "Ask Kytka" where she answers questions related to any of the above.

Currently, she and her family spend their time traveling to Central America, South America and Africa, educating themselves on traditional and indigenous healing methods. Truly living a lifelong love of learning, she is in the process of authoring three new books simultaneously on various healing & homeschooling adventures.

Her 10 year old son is a Reiki Master and Ascended Shaman in the Mayan tradition and is also writing a book.

Kytka's Reiki for Children is Absolutely Magical
Kytka Jezek is a gentle, sensitive and feminine guide through the initial steps for the practice of Reiki. This book is a wonderful intro for children (and adults) to the world of Reiki.
The entire book is truly a well thought out volume. My 12 year young son and I so enjoyed her whimsical explanation of the chakras and the meditations are, yes, absolutely a magical transport.
