Practice in a Simulated Testing Environment . . . with the Most Difficult Questions Available!
How good would it feel to know you will pass the PMP exam BEFORE you take it? PM FASTrack is an exam simulation software program containing more than 1,400 questions and six testing modes, allowing you to create an unlimited number of different exams. Created with the help of a psychometrician (just like the actual exam) PM FASTrack is designed to simulate the exam and eliminate any surprises. The application also:
- Tracks your progress with printable reports and graphs
- Provides explanations of answers and page references to Rita's book
- Contains "wordy" questions like the exam
- Helps you gain confidence and fill your gaps
- Decreases your study time!
In addition, users with Internet connections receive FREE real-time database updates as they become available. Students say the questions in PM FASTrack are more difficult than the ones on the actual exam!

Customer Reviews
Excellent PMP Exam Simulator
I used this useful CD along with "PMP Exam Prep, Fifth Edition: Rita's Course in a Book for Passing the PMP Exam" and helped me a lot. This Database contains more than 1400 questions subject to continuous updates. Believe it or not, many of the questions I encountered in the exam were very close in content to the ones in Rita's Database. I strongly recommend this product to whoever is planning to take the exam. However, this product demonstrates the exam environment and does not provide study materials. Therefore should be bought along with any of the study guides. Good Luck
PMP Exam Prep Software
After taking a week long PMP boot camp course, I found the PMP FastTrack exam simulation software to be a good study tool. Additionally, I also studied test questions from the Project Managment Professional Certification Prep book by ElementK as well as the PMP Exam Prep Questions & Solutions book by Aileen Ellis. After taking (and passing) the PMP exam, I found that the PMP FastTrack software helped me ramp up on my timing (ensuring I'd complete the 200 question exam within 4 hours or less). I would recommend using this software; however, I would not recommend it being the only tool used to study for the exam. A prep course is almost a necessity as there are many areas of knowledge one must be proficient in to pass.
Excellent product
This product was invaluable for passing the PMP exam the first time. I ended up trying about 850 questions at which point I felt I was not learning anything new. People should not expect to see the same or even similar questions on the actual exam. Instead, they should understand the structure of questions and the thinking metholodogy that goes into correctly choosing an answer from two or more very close possible choices. When you miss a question, be sure to read the explanation carefully and refer back to Rita's book and/or the PMBOK for further information. That is where the real value of the product lies - understanding where you went wrong and how to answer that type of question in the future.
Several things I didn't like about the product:
1) Each time one takes a PMP test, the software randomly chooses questions from the total bank of questions. This causes many questions to re-occur from previous exams (no duplicates will occur within a single exam). It should have been designed to draw questions from the bank of previously unused questions.
2) The user interface is different than the actual exam. They should have made it identical.
3) For the price, I would have like to have seen a pdf of Rita's exam study guide included and hyperlinks between each explanation and the appropriate section of the book.
4) A really annoying feature is the inability to take a full 200 question PMP in segments - in other words, stop working, save your work, and then pickup the sample exam later. Rarely did I study for four hours straight (the time needed to take a full pmp exam).
In summary, I think fast track is a great product and was instrumental to passing the PMP exam on the 1st attempt. The questions were as difficult or more difficult than the actual exam. The style of thinking and structure of questions were the same. Don't be naive and expect to see the same questions on the exam - its not going to happen. Make sure that you are scoring at least 85% before considering yourself ready.
