Excelent starting point before getting into jazzy stuff. If you are a beginner with the bare basics (some chords, some strumming and finger picking techniques) this is for you.

You will get everythig from technique to Theory. Very well organize. The etudes are simple with the only aim of demostrating the theory.

Part of a 3 book series divided by jazz styles. Little theory but great practical application. You may choose this one or any of the other 2. They will help you master the style choosen.

I'm amazed at this collection. Almost all 101 liks are relevant licks that you will recognized inmediately.

Incredible Collection 3 CD's TAB for almost all trascriptions. Artists like Jimmy Bruno, George Van Eps, Johny Smiths. I mean these nasty, for a mere $20 or so. Also good quality of the CD's.

With what you learned on the beginning Jazz Guitar Series you will be ready from Modal Forms. Perfect tool, to the point and great examples.

Although it focuses on heavy metal, It applications are endless! again it focuses on the mechanics of left/right hand coordinarion. Not a good start for begginers, but a must for intermidiate students

You will need something to practice with, doesn't have to be this one. This one is excellent. My favotite one from 5 that I have.

Good! Altought it offers some good advice, I doubt as suggested by author that you should start here. It is great book however to get some shortcuts regarding the use of scales and chords.

I think every guitarrist needs a some piano stuff. Beautifull well put together book.
