Caveat emptor, as the Romans once said: Let the buyer beware. There is a very good reason why the word "interpretations" is used in the title. Anyone looking for classic, standard, note-for-note renditions of their favorite Christmas songs will not find them here. That said, anyone looking for a unique and stylized collection of soulful holiday songs will not be disappointed--especially those who are Boyz II Men fans. The Boyz's rich harmonies and soaring flights of vocal fancy are their sonic calling card, and they display their talents at every turn here. Their reverence for the holiday is particularly evident with their treatment of "Silent Night." "Let It Snow," "You're Not Alone," "Share Love," and "Cold December" are also included. Why "A Joyous Song" is not already a Christmas classic is hard to say. Here's one last warning: don't be surprised if you find yourself wanting to listen to some of these songs long after the holiday season is over. --Steve Gdula

classic boyz II men xmas
This album came out in 1993 and still sounds fresh and original as ever. My favorite song on here is "Let It Snow" but I enjoy listening to all the songs around Xmas time and even in between the year it's so great! Much love to Boyz II Men and everyone this holiday season, this would make a great stocking stuffer for any music lover.

Romantic Christmas
As a traditional Christmas album, it's a disappointment. No "Jingle Bells" or "Holly Jolly Christmas" here. As a romantic Christmas album, listeners will be Merry all season long. A Season for Seduction is what I call it. I love this album!

Classic
If you are an R&B fan, you don't need me to tell you that this Christmas Album is only second to the Temptation Christmas Album as the best R&B Christmas album of all time. Now it does have all original songs besides Silent Night and Let it Snow... but I personally like that. Do They Know, Let it Snow, This Christmas ... are so good! Basically put the CD in and let it play .. you won't skip a song...and definitely gets you in the Christmas mood.
