Buckcherry reestablish their status as one of the most raucous and delightfully dirty-minded acts in the industry today with 15, a truly bombastic rock & roll blast. Vocalist Josh Todd leads this high-energy act into battle with the colossal one-two-three punch of "So Far," "Next 2 You," and "Out Of Line," each anchored by the weighty rhythm section of drummer Xavier Muriel and bassist Jimmy Ashhurst, then elevated by the Olympian guitar attack of Keith Nelson and Stevie D. But while an appropriate levity prevails on those tracks and others--such as "Crazy Bitch," "Broken Glass," and the good time stomp "Brooklyn"--the band also find time to show a more sensitive and mature side with the hit-worthy and country-inflected "Carousel," plus the unapologetically melancholy "Sorry." If there's a fault to be found on 15 it doesn't reveal itself easily, and if there's a fault to be found with Buckcherry it is perhaps that they imbue listeners with a zest for living. But that clearly is no crime. --Jedd Beaudoin

Buckcherry - "15"5
All I can say is, "It Rocks!"

It is about time we have some real rock & roll to listen to these days. You will not be disappointed with this purchase!

Raw and Edgy4
Well, these guys aren't the Osmonds, and most reading this know that of course. What they are is an interesting band that plays straight forward rock with a somewhat raw and edgy sound, similar to NICKELBACK and HINDER. Their lyrics and musianship aren't quite as polished and to be honest (in my opinion) not as well done as new releases from Whitesnake and Def Leppard, or even DAUGHTRY for that matter, but that's part of their appeal. It's different and that's not bad. They do a good job on the material they choose to play. I chose to download the "clean" version of the CD. I don't really feel it's necesary to have a lot of cursing or material which puts people down [...], but that's me. Listen to the samples. It's still interesting and good basic rock and that is it's appeal to me. If you like this type of rock, check out the video "Frankenstein" by StitchRivet on youtube. Excellent.

Oh so refreshing4
Buckcherry has always been a band that hasn't disappointed me in terms of what to expect from them, which is a mix of hard edged riffs and good 'ol fashioned rock. "15" doesn't deviate from the band's track record of enjoyable hard rocking, as singer Josh Todd and co. prove their worth even more so. "So Far", "Next 2 You", "Out of Line", "Crazy Bitch", and "Brooklyn" are spectacular, along with "Carousel" and "Sorry" showcasing a softer side as well. Although there is a bit of predictability to be found within the tracks featured on "15", that doesn't make the album any less enjoyable. Though there are new faces in Buckcherry these days, the band hasn't missed a beat whatsoever. All in all, "15" proves that Buckcherry and their brand of good 'ol hard rock is here to stay, and we should all be thankfull for that.
