Simply awesome...
The transformation was finally complete upon the release of "Soul Provider." Bolton truly shines as the album is dedicated to softer ballads, which is what Michael is now famous for. "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You" is undoubtedly the highlight of the album, but the whole thing is great.

Michael's soul shines through his original songs
Michael Bolton is a great artist. I like Bolton. I am a fan. Michael's soul shines through his songs that he birthed, when he sings those originals of his it is - magical - almost ethereal. His lyrics, his music and his voice they are so well put together - the fusion is awesome. The mixture melds and flows catapulting his songs like shooting stars heading straight for the sky. You want to know why we are above the animals? Buy Bolton CDs and enjoy being a romantic human being and listen to him alone or with someone special.
This was my first CD of Michael Bolton and that CD got me hooked and I have never gotten offline. As Michael Bolton grew he became better and better, now his songs are jet propelled. Now he has been burnt a few times by life and those life experiences he injects into his original songs.

Soft Rocker
This album was huge in 89-90.
I don't like this at all. Their are two, maybe three okay songs. I am fan of his early days.
1. Soul Provider - SUCKS ASS
2. Georgia on my Mind - sucks the original is better
3. It's only my Heart - one of the okay songs
4. How Am I supposed to live Without You - Huge single, ballad. not fan of this one, it's definately a monster ballad of the 80s.
5. How Can we be Lovers - accaully a pretty decent song. has a little edge to it.
6. You wouldn't Know Love - this were the record starts to rock.
7. When I'm Back on my Feet Again - this is were the record stops to rock. It's a pretty decent ballad.
8. From Now On - SUCKS
9. Love Cuts Deep - SUCKS
10. Stand up For Love- I'll stand up and turn this CD off.
Over all it sucks. Download "You Wouln't Know Love" , 'How Can we Be Lovers" and "When I'm Back of My Feet Again"
