By far my favorite album of all time! Billy Corgan and crew masterfully wrote and performed these songs to sonic perfection. From the quiet beauty of "thirty-three" to the in your face heavy vibe on "x.y.u." this double album is their best work to date.

If you enjoy great singers-songwriters then look no further! John Denver is truly one of the great names in music. Any greatest hits collection is a good starting point to get into John Denver.

Great driving music! John Fogerty and Co. rock out like no other band has dupilcated. "Bad Moon Rising, Have You Ever Seen The Rain, Lodi" the list could go on for a long time. Well thought out and put together tunes.

It's hard to pick one specific album to pick up from "Ol' Blue Eyes", but this one has some of the more well known songs. His music forces you to sit down and listen to what he has to say. All of the Rat Pack artists are superb, but Frank's the best as far as I'm concerned.

Two words, Rick Rubin. He has the Midas touch with his production. Working with everyone to this artist to Slayer, System of a Down, The Dixie Chicks, The Beastie Boys, Jay Z, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers just to name a few; the man is a genius. A very good pop album. and I hate pop music 99.9% of the time.

Perhaps this is my favorite Mars Volta Album because it was the 1st one I purchased. But all the works of this band(which was formed after the breakup of At The Drive-In) are a true musical experience. And I can't think of a better way to learn a new language!

Metal masterpiece! The boys of Brazil pound out over a dozen great tunes of blistering metal. But more importantly, they do it with a melody! Future death metal gods out there listen up: do yourself a favor and pick up this record and learn to groove Brazilian style!

The best Megadeth album BAR NONE! From beginning to end great riffs, bass licks and drum beats plus a lot of thought put into the lyrics.

Bjork's 2nd album is her best. I love all her work, but Post hits me as a real work of art. If you looking for something truly different, you've found it.

Hippy Rap? Granted this threesome never made it beyond indie status and that's fine by me! Their unique blend of love daisies and and potholes is truly infectious. Get this album and be prepared to listen to it at least twice in a row.

I love Madonna's early work. Something about it just makes you feel happy, can't explain it. "Cherish" is my favorite track on this one.

Another one of the best singer-songwriters out there! Pick this one up for a real taste of crooner magic.

No music collection, regardless of size should be without this album. Nuff said.

For every person wanting to understand metal music, you have to get this record. The fathers of metal's 1st album. Imagine listening to this the day it came out. How cool that must have been!

I love this album. Industrial art is the best way to describe this record. "Jesus Built My Hotrod" aside, (a good track but it ages quickly) this work is truly a great listen.

A "crooner" for lack of a better word in the 60's, Lou Christie never made it as big as others. That's not for lack of talent, he's got plenty of that. The man goes from almost a Barritone in depth to a high falsetto the next line. Great listening fun.

Being a California boy at heart, I have to love these guys, it's in my blood. I love all their work, but Pet Sounds is a work of art. Made by the genius Brian Wilson as an answer to Sgt. Pepper by the Beatles, I have to say that Mr. Wilson won that round by a landslide.

Best album from the 4 men from Liverpool. It jumps around so much but still manages to maintain it's overall presentation and that is why this album is amazing to me.

AC/DC's best and most unique album so far. Ok, so I was joking about the unique part. They have made the same album fo 20 plus years. But this one is the best.
