My favorite hardcore album of all time! Never lets me down when I want to enjoy a decent piece of hardcore music. From the first track to the last, this CD is a gem. In my opinion Zao's best work and cannot be missed if you like hardcore.

I love all In Flames albums, but this one owns part of my soul. If I start to listen to it, I can't stop until I've gone all the way through. Pure magic of metal, only rivaled by Soilwork's "Figure Number Five" for quality in "Swedish" metal.

Up until the release of this Cd, I could appreciate all Demon Hunters previous work as four star albums. But this one broke the mold for me. It roams across the metal sub-genres and even has a few rock-ish tunes. This Cd encompasses the greatness of the band while at the same time being heavy enough to peel paint.

Christian Death Metal. Sure that might seem like an oxymoron, but these guys pull it off big time. Not as good as As Blood Runs Black, but just a notch subpar to them. This Cd spent so much time in my player I had to get a second one. It's a pure metal feast.

Some might say this Cd gets monotonous at times, and they might be right. But it is a gem in my book. Nice and hard. No flash or flair, just some good metal, maybe even what some would call "nu-metal" though I would disagree. It still deserves a good long listen.

I can't describe how good this one is. You just have to listen to it to appreciate it. That's all I'm gonna say.

Before metalcore was cool and metalcore bands were popular, Skycamefalling and disembodied were the two rulers of the genre. This cd changed my life. I got it and started looking for more metalcore bands and less hardcore bands. A must have for any metalcore enthusiast.

Their first cd is the only real NoR cd you should ever own. Every cd since then they've had a different line-up and retained none of their original sound, which was wonderful hardcore for people who had brain cells left. Lyrically this is a wonder of a cd, but musically it's even better.

While I like their new vocalist, this cd is still my favorite. Less polished, more DIY feeling, but still raging and ripping due mostly to Adam, their guitarist. This cd is one I would recommend along with Zao's "Where Blood and Fire Bring Rest" to anyone who wants some good hardcore.

Every Agony Scene cd is great, this one is just slightly better. Superb content. Maybe metal, maybe hardcore, maybe metalcore, who knows, but it's as heavy as hell and it won't let you go until you've listened to it all.
