Buffy is sixteen years old and is the "chosen one" . She gets to kill vampires because it is her destiny to do so. She had a bad reputation at her old school in Los Angeles because she had burned the gym down. The principal at her new school at first rips up her records and then tapes her records back together again. Buffy tries to explain that the gym at her old school had to be burned down because it was full of vampires! Buffy and her mom just want a fresh start in their new suburban California home where the good part of town is half a block away from the bad part of town. In her new high school Buffy meets an eccentric librarian who knows that Buffy is the "chosen one". I'm a big Buffy and Angel fan, so 5 stars goes without saying. But have you checked out the comic books? Finally season 8 by Joss Whedon!
As great as ever
What is to talk about? You either love Buffy and the clan or you don't. I of course love it or I wouldn't have purchased the sets. Drama, humor and monsters, what could be better?
Buffy Great! DVD Manufacturer Bad
Well, maybe I souldn't really be writing a review, as the 4 times I had to order this set through Amazon only to find that disc 2 was either a0 not included, or b) so poorly manufactured that it didn't play ay all. I really wanted to watch the seires in order, but I went ahead and watched what I could. Pretty dull season, but then again, early on it was rumored to be the last season. So now as I wait for my 5th replacement, I hope disc to brings some life to a forgetable series that was as forgetable as the character Tara.
