Review
Tonight I watched the documentary on the Waverly Hill Sanatorium in Kentucky, presented by SciFi Channel. http://www.scifi.com/spooked/ This documentary was a far cry from the boring sleep inducing documentaries watched in primary and secondary schools. The producers did a wonderful job mixing emotions, from fear and unease to sadness felt for those trapped and dying from their disease. --APART of Washington http://www.theunexplained.net/waverly.htm

The movie was the most impressive ghost research documentary we have seen in some time. I myself found the film to be well researched and it had lots of real people that in the past had dealt with the going on at the creepy now closed Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Kentucky (USA). The film had a vast amount of actual accounts as well as haunting images and video from the Sanatorium. Unlike some ghost documentary's SPOOKED was interesting and informative. This DVD is now avail in what looks like a more extensive version than was shown on SCI-FI. --http://www.kyonsi.com/spooked.htm
From the Actor
Over two terabytes of facts and footage compiled and shot! Disease to a Cure, Life to Death, Past to Present. Over three weeks spent inside Waverly with over 18 hours inside the Death Tunnel. It was crazy and scary as well as sad and tender. One can feel the pain and the urgency of desperation and pure fear. Non-believers become believers after this film. We met a lot of cool and beautiful people when we shot in Kentucky, sad to say, some have passed away and may they rest in peace. There is nothing like it in the world than to walk down the old sanatorium haunted halls with the real patients and employees and share their incredible stories. Back to back all night ghost hunts full with jumps and scares, one will never be the same again. This film is dedicated to the lost souls of Waverly Hills Sanatorium.

Spooked Review
I was a little disappointed in this. I was very excited to get my hands on this disc but when it came to watching it I was let down. I usually like the Booth Brothers work and this one film won't keep me from investigating their other stuff.
Good Movie But did not have a Closed Caption
I Did ordered this DVD and watched this but to my disppointed with DVD is dont have a closed caption (CC). That reason I had to send it back for full refund. But It seems very good movie. It need to make a format the CC on Spooked, Ghosts of Waverly Hills Sanatorium DVD and other DVD.
Fascinating history but disapointing ghost evidence
I give this documentary four stars for the history alone! It was fascinating and very sad. It definitely held my attention all the way through, and allowed me to see more of Waverly Hills then I ever had before. The short part about Woodhaven was interesting and the things the women, who supposedly was a nurse there, said were horribly sad. However a man who claims to have worked at Woodhavn, says the rumors of such paitent abuse were untrue. This is something I hope will be more researched in the future. I must say I was disappointed in the ghost part of the movie. I agree with who ever said this was more of a historical documentary. The Evps were pretty good but the pictures weren't that impressive. I was completely unimpressed with all the orb pictures. Most of them were obivously due to the moisture and dust in and around the building. After all many shots showed water standing in the hallways. The wet foot print's were weird but would be easy to fake. For this being called the scariest place ever I expected better footage. But if you want to learn about the hisotry of the place or are interested in it at all this Dvd is well worth your time and money. If you don't start it hoping for ghosts you won't be disappointed!
