The second season of the show actually improves on the stellar first season. Characters like Zuko and Toph especially are some of the best on television whether live action or animated. This is one of the rare action shows aimed at kids with real heart and a story to tell. Pick it up whether you're looking for something to watch with the family or you’re just a lover of adventure stories.

The second volume continues the tradition of the first of delivering stories with more mature themes and complicated characters than most American produced cartoon shows.

This last set collects all the episodes of The New Batman Adventures. All of the major heroes and villains were redesigned for this new show and the focus shifted somewhat to a team of Gotham defenders made up of Batman, Nightwing, Batgirl, and a new Robin. Most importantly though the creative team stayed mostly the same, making the stark new designs easier to get used to.

With this show Bruce Timm and his creative team really got the chance to expand the Batman lore outside of the DC comics continuity and in doing so gave us a great story rarely seen in comics. That of an aging paranoid hero who must pass his gifts and wisdom to the next generation.

Justice League starts off in a somewhat rocky first season with many ups and downs along the way. Still there's more good here than bad and seeing characters like Wonder Woman animated for the first time since Super Friends is fantastic. Also replacing Aquaman with Hawkgirl may seem like a strange choice but ultimately it's an inspired one.

Justice League changes it's focus here with a new seemingly limitless supply of heroes from the A-listers seen in the first two seasons of Justice League to D-listers like Booster Gold. Some episodes miss there mark but the season long story arc taking inspiration from different moments throughout the DC animated universe make this some of the best stuff to come to cartoons.

Here Superman gets the same great treatment from Bruce Timm and Paul Dini that they gave to Batman's animated show. This set collects some of the best Superman stories every committed to film.

The last volume of this show. There's some great stuff in here with the villain Doomsday and the two-part series finale Legacy. There are also plenty of cameos from other DC heroes which in many ways set-up Justice League down the line.

A great cartoon comedy never afraid to send up classic super hero stories.

A great second season with the fantastic Terra story arc.

Probably the best season since it delves into the shows most popular (and for good reason) character Raven. The season long arc is probably the shows best.

Even funnier than the first season. No Johnny Quest era adventure show is safe from this comedy about failure. NOT FOR CHILDREN.
