YEAH.....great dvd for CHIC.....good sound....great music.....blast from the past.....didn't know Nile Rodgers had written songs for a few diffrent bands......awesome.......worth having in your collection....

Good but would like to have a DVD of original group4
Its great to see Nile Rodgers and all the great musicians he has assembled.Chic never got there full due.And these concerts show everyone what a great band should be like.There are now several Chic DVD concerts out of there performances from recent years.But i would love for Nile Rodgers or someone else to put out some of there performances from the 1970's or early 1980's when they were at there peak.There are several of these on You Tube.And after seeing the young Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards. On stage along with Alfa Anderson and Luci Martin and Tony Thompson.I think you will agree that this current version of Chic is good.But doesn't begin to create the magic of the original group.

If you love funk, buy this DVD right now. Nile Rogers' and Omar Hakim's performances alone make this a no brainer purchase. Add a great set list, top production quality and stellar vocals and horn section and this DVD is one of the best. The set list includes all of Chic's top hits, plus Rogers' hits with Diana Ross and Sister Sledge-all stellar performances. The bass player, a big fan of Bernard Edwards, is humble and very capable filling the big shoes of his idol. Every musician on the stage is an all star! I was impressed from beginning to end and I'm not easy to please. I put it on and my whole family including my son(6) and daughter(8) were dancing around the family room. Great job by Nile putting this whole prodcution together. A must have for those who love funk!
