Pam Grier is my sidekick, do or die chick! No woman has ever put it down on the big screen like Pam Grier. She is the female Sylvester Stallone, Arnold schwarzenegger & Bruce Lee rolled into one. This movie is beyond a classic.

Alot of memories i have from this flick. One of my moms favorites as well as mines. I thought Anthony perkins was a fool for this one. Diana Ross & Billy Dee Williams always seem to have great on screen chemistry. This is a must have if u you are a major Diana Ross fan.

By far this flick is in my top 5 for the funniest films ever. I grew up watching this film and to this very day it's still packed with timeless laughs. How can one location be so entertaining. Also this film has one of the greatest, timeless soundtracks ever performed by Norman Whitfields protege's Rose Royce. They definitely don't make soundtracks like this anymore.

This is a very underrated pimp flick. A very conceptual film that shows the upside and the downside of a pimps life. Most people know Roscoe Orman as the very la-la baldheaded cat named Gordon on Sesame Street. But he definitely did his thing as Willie and he was definitely dynamite. Great transition Roscoe!

"I curse you black prince, you will be called Blacula!" Man this movie is the sh@t! Gene Page was sick for this soundtrack.

My son pulled this movie out and we watch it together and he really liked it! I was suprised that someone his age would enjoy it because it dosent have all the industrial light and magic like all the films do today. He said: "I want to see the first one daddy!" I like both but this one was funnier and had more bites to it, plus Pam Grier was in it, thats my queen.

One of my favorite Gene Hackman films, this is his finest work. This film is action packed minus all the flamboyant computerization they use nowadays, just straight raw footage with the most classic car chase ever. This is definitely a must have in your vintage collection.

An all time classic women's prison film with sexy Pam Grier in it getting down and dirty, mud fights and the whole nine. This film is a turn on, the women were hot and they had alot of heart. This film makes Sybil Brand look like disneyland.

This is Max Julien's classic debut. This film has alot of history from the ongoing Black Pather feuds to the graphic death of Fred Ward. This film also made a big impact on the hip hop culture courtesy of Willie Hutch's all time melodic soundtrack, which was sampled from Snoop to Jahiem. Max Julien went on to screenwrite and co-produce Cleopatra Jones right after.

This is an offbeat psychodelic film about a girl group called "The Kelly Affair", and their excursion to Hollywood in hopes of stardom. The infamous movie critic Robert Ebert was the screenwritter for this film. I thought was exceptionally well, it's a keeper in my library of classic cult films.

This is Gordon Park's classic flick. Richard Roundtree was born for this role. The signature leather coat, mudd n' chops and all. No one could ever look so cool, calm, and collective whippin' somebody's a@@ like Rich. Great Soundtrack from Issac Hayes as well. My favorite track is Cafe Regio's.

I love this film personally for the history of it, for the love of the music. This film never made it to the big screen, it was canned. But the soundtrack is an everlasting timeless piece of art by the greatest band on Earth, Wind & Fire. I absorbed every moment of this film. It was like watching them create this album in the form of a movie.

Emma Mae was country as hell, but she was hard as concrete. Zeke was a fool! From Georgia to Watts, Emma Mae had heart. I like this film it had alot of guts.

Apollo Creed! This is one of my all time favorite action films from the 80's. With my man Herbie Hancock on the musical score. And Vanity was sexy as hell, even as a junky. My favorite line in the film is: "Why'cho lookin' fo' Poppa Dock?"
Hell Up In HarlemHell Up In Harlem

This film literally proceeded where the first one left off. It stood it's ground. Gritty soul from Edwin Starr on the soundtrack composed by Freddie Perren & Fonce Mizell, definitely underrated. Watch the sceen at the beginning when Tommy Gibbs get's shot at while he's in the back seat of a taxi, there's totally a grindhouse glitch, and i luv it.

This is a great film featuring two extremely great actors Yappet Kotto and Anthony Quinn. They hated each other in the film, and had so much chemistry doing it. Booby Womack and J.J Johnson provided a powerful soundtrack. This film is raw and hit's straight to the gut.
