Baseball Prospects
I can't wait to get my hands on this Prospects Handbook every year. It is thoroughly researched for every team and there is valuable information in it every year. If you are part of a fantasy league and you keep your players from year to year, this is an incredible tool for getting players that aren't even on other GMs radar. If you're just a fan, you will still get valuable reading here since it plums the depths of every team at every level. I've already ordered my 2010 edition!
BA Prospect Handboook
Expert research guide for those who love to play Strat-o-matic...Helps keep you ahead of your competition when drafting prospects..
AN INDISPENSABLE TOOL
For this veteran Minor League Baseball writer, the annual Baseball America Prospect Handbook is an essential reference for keeping tabs on the best young players in the game. As Minnesota Twins General Manager Bill Smith puts it, scouting and developing talent is "an inexact science," so rating the prospects can't be far behind. Yet Baseball America does an incredible job, and the reviews are written up in a snappy style that delves into a player's personality as well as his potential for a major league career. Add in the depth charts and the explanations of how scouts draw their conclusions and you have a 20-game winner every year.
