Not what I expected
Based on the description of this product, I was expecting a fruitier scent, but what comes through very strongly is the musk and sandalwood. I can take both in small doses, but they overpower the underscents of peach and pineapple. Has very good staying power.

I was expecting more fruit...
I agree with the other reviewer. I was expecting more of a fruity scent... more pinapple. In fact, I was a little disappointed in the lightness of the fragrance that was there. I guess that is what happens when the fragrance in more mildly based, i.e. sandlewood or musk. But it does smell good. I like the scent, I just wish it was stronger. I'm not sure if this stays with me throughout the day.

This scrub has a wonderful moisterizing property. The grains of salt are the right size. Not too big. Not too small, so you can get a lot of scrubbing done before the stuff falls from your skin of dissolves. And the rich base of oils has a great viscosity, so I wasn't constantly scooping more because it was so running that I kept dropping it. I think that most people won't even need a moisterizer after this. But if you like to use one anyway, pick a light one. You'll have to scrub the floor and sidewalls of your tub or shower after using this. It does leave a thick coating.

I'm trying a new scent today, but i wanted to say that with the groove...you should note that it is a 'unisex" scent which is probably why the the fruity smells are not dominant. Also regarding the lasting power. Most of the Carol's Daughter products I use do last...I like to keep it light for work...but then when I'm out or really want to get attention I layer the products as suggested by the maker. On her original website she suggests how and why you might want to layer the scents for full impact. LOVE IT!!!Great skin conditioner and moisturizer love the smells in the summer but right now its such good therapy for the skin in this harsh winter weather here on the east cost.
