Editorial Reviews

From Parents' Choice®
This delightful animated movie is based on the characters first brought to life in A.A. Milne's accounts of Winnie the Pooh and his friends. This time, the focus is on the usually irrepressible, and ever-bouncy Tigger. The writing is faithful to Milne's characters, and there are enough twists and subplots to keep the older viewers interested.

The action focuses around Tigger's attempts to find his family and the unforeseen consequences when the other creatures (Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Owl, Kanga, Roo and Rabbit) try to help. The plot covers issues related to loneliness, family and cooperation, in useful and realistic ways. There are several songs integrated into the movie, in a rather seamless fashion. The animation is high quality and the voices are both creative and humorous. (As an aside, I liked the occasional visual references to books, showing that the basis of the story is a book, not a video, and drawing young viewers into the excitement that books can offer.) This is a strong movie, illustrating the timeless value of attractive characters, strong writing; plot development and interesting animation which supports the script, instead of distracting from the plot. "The Tigger Movie" is generally suitable for young children, with only one sequence (of an avalanche), which might upset the youngest of viewers. A 2000 Parents' Choice® Silver Honor.

The Tigger Movie is A Great Movie5
One of personal favorite pooh movies, The Tigger movie is one of disney's best new animated movies around. Full of humor and friendship, this movie will delight young and old for years to come.

So, if you are looking for a great disney animated movie...then look no further than The Tigger Movie! Its just grrrreat!

Cute and Heart-Warming5
I watched this movie with my four year old boy. It was very cute and heart-warming. It contained a very profound message on friednship and family. Even I had a little tear in my eye towards the end of the movie.

I bought the VHS tape very cheap. I would advise buying VHS tapes for kid movies. Kids don't care about high definition picture quality, and they often scratch up the DVDs antway. By the time the tapes wear out, the kids will mostly have outgrown the movie. VHS tapes are now being sold for pennies or a couple of dollars at the most.

dvd was scratched1
well unfortunately the DVD was so scratched it wouldn't play more than a few seconds. It freezes up. Tried cleaning it but it didn't help. My daughter was very dissappointed.
