Product Description

The modern gay man is his own best friend, has healed his inner child, is in touch with the warrior within, has memorized the Kama Sutra, and owns a little black book that would make Casanova jealous. Why, then, do so few of them have the house, dog, Range Rover, and "husband" that so many yearn for?

Husband Hunting Made Easy finally reveals the secrets to finding, getting, and keeping the husband of your dreams. From the basics ("What is a husband and why do I want one?") to the advanced course ("In-laws-how not to kill them"), this is the everything-you-need-to-know guide. From blind dates ("Hint: Never let Mom set you up") to dress ("A thong is always wrong!") to avoiding pathetic opening lines ("Care to lambada?"), Patrick Price leads you past the pitfalls and pratfalls of landing the (nearly) perfect man.

Customer Reviews

Sad, Bad, and not Glad (that I read this book)1
This book is a pitifully shallow and degrading analysis of something that is so important to so many. A true disappointment. On the other hand, if you find yourself liking everything that everyone else likes - in other words, if you're a trite cliche - then this book might be for you. I mean, what kind of a serious author lists a reason for having a partner of, "He'll tell you when you're clothes don't match" or "he'll instantly double your CD collection." If anything, this book helped me understand why I have a hard time engaging in idle chatter about uninteresting nothingness. Maybe it really is them and not me.

A must read for the those searching the stars for Mr. Right5
This book was excellent. Well written and informative. It give you a step by step of ideas and practices that will help safely guide you through looking, dateing, and keeping yourself in a happy relationship with Mister Wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone, even if you are currently in a relationship, it offer some good advice all around for gay relationships.

Great book with many fine points4
This is a great book for someone who's just starting on the daring search for a husband. It's laid out in good clean format and written in a concise forward manner. Even with that said the author remembers that any book like this needs to keep it's perspective - and it's sense of humor.

And the sense of humor is what keeps this book moving along. The advice is all pretty much common sense but the author puts it in a form that's easy to digest (as opposed to advice from your friends which is...). There are some very cute and funny bits about how to put up with your future husband's little habits. There's even a section on handling his love of Barbra, or whatever diva he chooses to worship.

While this is a great book, the reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because it's almost like reading the Clif's Notes version of a heavier book. It leaves you wanting something more in depth.
