I had no trouble fitting this into my Bosch 1199VS which has a half inch chuck.
shank problem
I bought this Bosch drill bit to use in my 1/2" Bosch hammer drill. The shank will not insert into the fully opened jaws of the chuck. The chuck is original to the drill. I have requested a full refund from Amazon.
