This is my pick as the most important item for nursing comfortably. I use it for nursing, and my husband uses it for the daily bottle. It is supportive, holds in place and has a handy little pouch for important stuff (in my case, the remote control). This is a must-have for me, and put the Boppy out of circulation in our house.

We love our dutalier glider - it is strong, durable and very well made. Ours has lasted through four kids (two families) and is still going strong. Our has removable cushion covers, which is great for cleaning. I personally prefer a small nursing footrest to the ottoman, but the ottoman is OK if there is a nursing footrest that slides out (ours has this feature).

Buy new: $10.17 / Used from: $1.99 I read this cover to cover with our first child. It was the best and most comprehensive book on nursing (and most helpful) that I came across.

Buy new: $22.49 Beginning week one, our kids have one bottle a day from dad. The benefits of this are too many to list. We found that using a bottle did not turn the kids off to nursing - however, we stick with a newborn nipple for the bottle to limit flow per consultant's advice. Born Free bottles are BPA free.

Buy new: $18.69 I like these bags for several reasons. First, the sticky tabs are great so I can pump right into the bag and either store it in the fridge or put right into the freezer. Second, and perhaps most importantly, I have not had any problems with bags leaking, breaking or deteriorating --problems I experienced with other brands.
