The first movie I ever bought on DVD. This version doesn't really add much beside picture quality. The original movie was shot in a very fast 35mm stock, so there is a lot of noise to the picture. All hairs/defects/etc. were pulled from the print, and this was mastered well. Audio has more pop compared to the basic version and the special edition released a few years ago.

The re-master and fixes to this movie are so amazing the movie could have been made last year. A perfectly crisp transfer of the director's cut, this is the edition to buy. Previous DVD releases don't even come close to the detail provided here. Ridley Scott's obsessive attention to detail pays off in this release.

This was one of my first BD buys. I had this movie on DVD, and it was phenomenal already, but BD kicks it into overdrive. Every detail is available in even the darkest scenes thanks to VC-1 encoding. Brilliant disc.

I'm going to gush a little. This movie is up there with T5E and a small handful of others on my lists of favorite movies of all time. I jumped on the opportunity to own this in BD, and it has really paid dividends. The PQ is perfect perfect perfect. The sound is outstanding, and the extras are superb. If you're a browncoat, you'll love this disc.
