Review
Rogov's Guide is indispensable for fans of Israel's fast-growing industry. --The New York Times
Rogov's Guide to Israeli Wines is not only the most complete and up-to-date coverage of Israeli wines, with excellent notes on more than 1,000 wines, but it is very tastefully designed, and of extraordinarily high quality. --Tom Stevenson, Editor of Sotheby's & Christie's Wine Encyclopedias
This quality wine book reflects the enormous strides recently made in the Israeli wine industry; it fills an important void in spreading the message about the quality and variety of Israel's wineries. Rogov is by far Israel's most credible wine journalist. --Decanter Magazine
About the Author

Customer Reviews
The essential guide to wines from Israel
A brilliant and well thought out analysis of the Israeli Wine Industry that facilitates the understanding as well as the appreciation of Israeli wines. Regardless of your taste in wines, Rogov seems to explain the regional differences and production methods with wines with no bias to any style. His honesty, truth and depth of knowledge allow anyone from the basic to the connoisseur appreciate the uniqueness Israeli wine. A yearly release that is thoroughly worthwhile.
Rogov's guide to Israeli wines 2009
I have found Rogov's guide to be accurate with respect to Israeli kosher wines and as a result I restrict my choices to those wines that have a rating of 90 or better. And as a result I am enjoying a wide range of excellent Israeli wines.
Consice,detailed and professional guide.
I have Rogov's books since 2006 edition. Liked the pocket size so I could always carry them in a bag or in a car which is convenient when one visits wineries. Liked narrating style and very nice way to rate wines. Somewhat biased towards Golan Heights winery. However, this is quite acceptable for GHW being one of the oldest and possibly most professional producer in Israel. Overall, highly recommend both the book and author (he has an online forum on WineLovers).
