This my new favorite bible. I love the feel of the physical book itself, the print is modern and readable, and the NIV translation is my favorite for day-to-day use.

Seems to fill the bill...
I was looking for an NIV Bible that actually had LARGE print. Many of the large print Bibles still have print that is too small for my tastes. This edition has 10.5 point font in a two-column page layout (with red lettering).

It has a very nice two-tone cover, a presentation page, a sufficient concordance, and decent maps. This Bible has center column cross-references and alternate translation notes at the bottom of the page. The only thing that could have been done to make this a better reference Bible for me was to add book introductions. Other than that, this Bible seems to meet all my needs in a lightweight, text-only edition.

Font
As a senior I have difficulty reading small print and therefore ordered the above item. But I find it also difficult to read because, though the print is larger than usual, the lines are too close to each other, with very little space in between. There is not enough white space on the pages. I'm afraid I won't be using this bible very much, if at all.

Great Bible
This is a wonderful Bible!

One note: I was expecting an 11 point font, and it turned out to be a 10.5. For those of us that need large print - it may be significant. An 11 point typeface would have been easier for me to read. That said, I got one copy for myself and one for a friend and we both LOVE them! The binding is sewn not glued. The Bible moves nicely and lays flat beautifully. It has center column references, the text is clear and the concordance is good. There is room in the margin to write a word or two but not a lot of notes. The cover feels great and breaks in well. I am happy with the way it is wearing so far. It is a pretty Bible and nicely bound. I use it daily.
