Beautiful little doll
Kirsten is a well made little doll of wonderful quality made with the same attention to detail in her clothing as the larger American Girl dolls - we love her! Her little book is tiny and does not contain the full story of Kirsten but is a fun, tiny read none the less.

Looks as pictured
It looks just like the picture of the mini doll. Usually the minis are just like the 18 inch ones. I am not impressed like I have been with the mini Nellie, Samantha, Felicity and Elizabeth. I am worried that with after play her hair and boots will become a mess. Her hair is just secured with clear rubber bands, the ribbons don't hold it.

Waste of money
Don't bother with this product. I wanted to introduce my daughter to an American Girl doll and teach her about history. We had just started reading the Laura Ingalls Wilder books, and I thought this would be another great tie in to that era of American history. The enclosed book is so small you need a magnifying glass to read it. The doll is very small and not well made. We lost one of her shoes the first day as it kept falling off and was impossible to tie. This was our first experience with American Girl products, and my impression is now very negative.
