nice first CD
Glad that i did pick this up it was another one of those recommended to me CDs by amazon. It has a good opening with "Attention" and it was holding my attention for the whole cd. I didnt even have to skip ahead to something else because the last song was just crap. It goes and flows from song to song without the miss of a beat. I look forward to what The Academy Is has to offer with their next cd. Which i do plan to purchase in the future without a doubt. Almost Here yeah i think with this one they are right on with the title. The Academy Is well on its way and it will only get better with each new cd released by them. Thumbs up!!
The Academy Is........Unoriginal.
Well what do you know? Another band on Fueled By Ramen records that sounds like Fall Out Boy. I gave this album a listen and wanted to like it, but couldn't. First off, the lead vocals are really annoying and nasally. Secondly, I'm not a fan of Fall Out Boy, so that made me hate it even more. If you want to listen to a sub-par band that sounds like Fall Out Boy but with very annoying vocals, then The Academy Is.....for you!
Spectacular Breakthrough
The great rising band The Academy Is has a impressive album out called "Almost Here".This spectactuler breakthrough band has many wonderful songs and I have to say they are all splendid and exceptional. I recommend this band for everyone, especially if you're into alternative and up-beat music. This music is great for blasting in front of friends and family. I have to say this is a great band with many fun songs. This album is sure to be treasured by all. Can't go wrong here, no siree!
