Editorial Reviews

Album Description
On "Lies For The Liars", the third studio album from The Used, one of rock's most fearless and incendiary bands ratchets up the heavy factor. "The Bird And The Worm" is the first track to radio and video.

Trash for the useless1
Maybe my jeans arent tight enough. Maybe its the fact that I like women. Whatever it is, this cd just isnt for me. If you wear tight pants and are under the age of 14, and are under 100 pounds, you'll LOVE this record.

Great Album From A Great Band5
Now I have to admit that this is the first album of theirs that I have actually listened to, so I'm not wholly familiar with their previous work or how good it "once was". I'm not what could be called a hardcore rock fan where I take every bit of music made by a band seriously, and I'm not a person who really cares that much about commercialisation which is likely to be the next accusation thrown at a band like this. Sure to some the lyrics may seem simplistic and childish but all in all this is a very good album that I could listen to over and over again. To be honest I came across this band by chance when watching a music station and the video for bird and the worm started. That was a song that really made me think "Wow this is a damn good song" this convinced me to download the album (Legally of course) and I was nothing short of blown away. This isn't a "Hardcore" rock album where it's constant pointless screaming that you can't really understand, and over the top guitar play.

Some of the best songs on the album I felt were

Bird and the Worm
The Ripper
Hospital
Paralyzed
With Me Tonight

I feel this is definitely worth the buy as it's an "emo" album that isn't too over the top.

Excellent CD!5
I love The Used and this CD was no disapointment! I got to see them in concert recently and am so glad I purchased the CD as they performed many songs from the CD.
