![]() | The Cold Vein by Cannibal Ox
Buy new: $15.98 / Used from: $7.38 If you're looking for something different from the hip hop world, check this ablum out. Vast Aire is so fluid in his rhymes and El-P, as always, delivers revolutionary production.

![]() | Around the Fur by Deftones
Buy new: $12.99 / Used from: $2.68 My favorite rock album of all time. I can't find anything wrong with this ablum. "Mascara" from "Lotion" to "Headup". This album has EVERYTHING!
|
![]() | Bad Dreams by Swollen Members
Buy used from: $4.19 Forget about EVERYTHING after this ablum, it was all garbage. I consider this the ablum that basically pulled the trigger on Swollen Members. This album was so great that it threw them into mainstream and everyone liked it, Monsters in the Closet didn't help either, whether they wanted to or not.
|
![]() | Visions of Gandhi by Jedi Mind Tricks
Buy new: $17.98 / Used from: $8.48 Not a lot of folks liked this album. Too much "Salsa" spanish influence. But I thought it was something new and fresh and the songs still hit hard. Vinnie Paz is one of the greatest hip hop writers of all time.

![]() | Reset by Mute Math
Buy used from: $16.00 Fantastic album. Influences from U2 can definitely be heard on this album. Great electronic rock record even though it's only an EP.
|
![]() | Juturna by Circa Survive
Buy new: $12.98 / Used from: $4.49 Flawless! Absolutely flawless! Green's voice is incredible on this release. I never was a huge fan of Saosin so truely enjoying this album surprised me. Beginning to the end, nothing to complain about.
|
![]() | Everything in Transit by Jack's Mannequin
Buy new: $12.99 / Used from: $7.96 Very fun album. Great record to cruise to and listen to on the boat in the summer. Some love songs and some sad songs. All together, this is a good album to have in your rotation over spring break.
|
![]() | 30 Seconds to Mars by 30 Seconds to Mars
Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $5.00 Atmosphereic rock for a different crowd. On their new ablum, 30 Seconds to Mars went strickly rock. This ablum takes you to another world. A fantastic debut from an unlikely musical artist, Jared Leto.
|
![]() | Business Up Front/Party In The Back by Family Force 5
Buy new: $13.98 / Used from: $4.92 I love the mixture you get with this album. Pop, punk, hip hop, rock. Just about every song shows every one of those qualities. Very fun album for those hot days cruisin' down the strip with the top down.
|
![]() | Decadence by Head Automatica
Buy new: $13.98 / Used from: $0.81 Another fun record. Dance party album. Electronic funk is what I like to call this with some pop qualities. Have fun with this one.
|
![]() | Introduction to Mayhem by Primer 55
Buy new: $17.98 / Used from: $0.20 One of the only rap, rock albums I can listen to all the way through. This album definitely doesn't get the respect it deserves as far as metal albums are concerned.
|
![]() | The Guest by Phantom Planet
Buy new: $11.98 / Used from: $2.45 First of all, screw the OC. I love this album and all that show did was ruin one of their songs. This is a great indie(ish) soft rock record. Postal Service influences show up on here but without the elctronics.
|
![]() | Redeemer by Norma Jean
Buy new: $15.98 / Used from: $2.36 The new singer is unbelievable. The best they have had yet. The vocals are fantastic and the music isn't as random as it once was, a little more controlled on this one, which is good. The vocal patterns and such stand out on this. Incredible.
|
![]() | Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child by Norma Jean
Buy new: $14.98 / Used from: $3.29 One of my favorite hardcore albums ever. Saw these guys when they were Luti-Kriss back in the day and loved them then as well. This album just does it for me as far as vocals, guitar, rhythm. And can you say 16 minute long masterpiece of a song?!!?
|
![]() | The Fat of the Land by The Prodigy
Buy new: $12.99 / Used from: $1.74 One of the first techno albums to go mainstream. Rock, techno, hip hop. It's all here.
|
![]() | Dark Side Of The Moon by Pink Floyd
Buy new: $10.99 / Used from: $4.19 I'm not worthy of comment.
|
![]() | The Used by The Used
Buy new: $13.98 / Used from: $2.79 Pretty much started a completely new genre with this album: screamo. They get a little softer on the next album but it's just as good. Favorite band of all time.
|
![]() | In Love and Death by The Used
Buy new: $13.98 / Used from: $6.00 Softer than their previous album but deserves just as much attention as it did.
|
![]() | Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) by Wu-Tang Clan
Buy new: $8.97 / Used from: $4.22 This album was unlike anything at the time of its release. What people would call today a more "underground" feel. Definitely accepted among mainstream and underground crowds alike.
