Customer Reviews
Case-a-riffic!
When you pull the trigger on a major purchase like a Canon XL2 camera, you want a case worthy of holding your precious possession. You want something sturdy, uses the space well, fits the camera comfortably, and doesn't wind up being too heavy.
Sturdy
This is a well-constructed case and just feels solid. Metal on the outside and solid, thick foam on the inside.
Uses the space well
I have uploaded customer images showing how this works, but there wind up being three main areas once the case is opened. There is a pocket under the lid, an area for the camera, and a storage space under the camera that can be divided into three areas. Plenty of space for the basic camera kit, an extra battery, some tapes, microphones, an extra lens, and a few other things. I wish there was a place for the manual, but beyond that, it holds everything I'd want it to.
Fits the camera comfortably
Again, refer to the pictures I uploaded, but this thing is tailor-made for the XL2. You place can store the camera completely assembled, or you can take the various pieces off and store them apart from the body.
Doesn't wind up being too heavy
There's no way around it, it's going to be heavy. But the case itself is fairly light, so the only weight you have to worry about is what you put inside. I think some wheels would have been nice for this, but I'm not complaining.
As I use it more, I'll probably find things I wish were different about it, but I'm pleased with the purchase and would recommend this case for any Canon XL2 owners out there.
Amazing
Delivered IMMEDIATELY and in perfect condition!! I didn't expect it so soon, but appreciated the quick delivery!!
