Going Pro from the get go (The L line is the high end Canon lens line). This is a great lens and one of the two I always take (other is the 70-200 f/2.8L). If I had to take one, this 24-70 would be it.

Okay, so the 600 mm was really nice, but this new 800 mm will be sweeter indeed! It weighs less and is about the same size as the 600mm. One hopes the price will come down, but one can dream! Top on my wish list!

Use these or the correct size on all of you lens and save your very expense purchases.

I am not sure that this overkill anymore. I took 599 pictures at RAW resolution with the 5D (12 MP), but the 1Ds (21 MP) eats almost twice that so a larger card might be in order. The speed of the Extreme IV is excellent. I have three 8 GB with me just in case I drop one or one simply will not work. Have extras, sucks when you carry a camera and it turns into it unnecessary workout gear.

The ultimate back up device (bigger drive would be good) but this device has the best layout and a really nice screen. I am not sure this is safari gear, but if you are making money with your camera or really love your work having a back up this is the way to go. Being able to see your back up is even better.

Light in weight and you can get low to the ground. Top notch kit here.

Clean is good, anything else and you have to ask your self why did I drag that dam camera. Bad photos and going to ruin your day, so keep it clean with this powerful tool. Stands up on it's own too!!

Yeah you can't be clean enough and this little beauty in a heavy duty ziplock is ready to go for ya.

A better take on the original Aperture and a clearly great way to store and back up your photos. This is a major upgrade!

A decent little bag.This is my urban tourist bag when I am not taking all the lenses. I did 5 ziplines, one over 700 feet long and the bag and all of the gear was good to go not even a wiggle. The straps are very important to use if you are carrying the bag for more than 15 min. as it can get uncomfertable. Not good for tripod transport.

A neat item for your hot shoe that helps you get the shot right from macro to landscape. On bubble, better shot! Yeah and it does add massively to the camera geek factor.

Well thought out remote control with lots of easy to use features. Ask my cat about the remote timed shots every 1/2 hour all night long over his bed. This is the one you want. I wish the cord were longer or it was wireless. A pricey as well. The wireless one is over $600, so I have yet to spring for it.

The mac daddy flash here and recently revised by Canon. I have the 430 (bought it first) as well and I use it as a slave flash, but if I had my druthers I would stick to the 580.

More speed and storage the better. Mac's rule and are super tools for learning and skipping the frustrations of a PC.
