Buy used from: $269.99 This is one of the best, inexpensive camcorders out on the market. It has 3CCDs, very rare for a $400 camcorder, which means it picks up rich color. It has 2.3 MegaPixels for still shots, which means it can take pretty good quality photos, and it comes with a remote (don't listen to the reviews because I bought it and it came with a remote)
