Have this... Use this to take onto the street. A bit easier to hide than a D3. If you are looking for your first DSLR, get this. Since the D90 has come out the D80's price has went down drastically. Body only is now just about $100 more than a D40 with its kit lens.

Get 2 for backup. You will never need to conserve battery power with 3 batteries for the D3

The best hot shoe flash ever. I would get 2, I already have a SB-600.

The only filter to improve color on the 200-400. Hoya or B+W don't make such a thing.

Don't even think about putting the 200-400 on the 488RC4. You need to go heavy duty for a heavy lens. (I could not find the Wimberley head, so this was just for an example)

For when I need the 200-400. Should but may not fit all of it. I only trust Lowepro's bags.
