This two-disc set bears a most unfortunate title, considering its disappointing delivery. While Songs 4 Life contains contributions from some of today's best-loved, Dove Award-winning contemporary Christian artists--including Jaci Velasquez, Jars of Clay, DC Talk, Amy Grant, and Steven Curtis Chapman--the sequence and selections pale in comparison to the best material this genre has to offer. Little is outright awful, but even less reaches beyond mildly nice or overdone and stale. It's too bad there isn't greater diversity--there is no traditional gospel and other than Audio Adrenaline's "Man of God," the collection lacks any truly alternative coverage. Songs 4 Life, bland and safe, is a far cry from a mountaintop experience. --Paige La Grone

What a blessing!
Songs 4 Life are uplifting and inspirational! It's wonderful to hear so many talented artists playing my favorites and even some I haven't heard before. If you aren't familiar with any or some of these artits, this is a great way to sample them.

Amazing Collection - My Children Love It!
I have all four sets in the series and truly feel that this was one of the best purchases I've made for our 'family' in a long time! The words are included and while we drive, my 8- and 10-year-olds concentrate on singing along with the artists. Some tracks are powerful, others comforting - but all are enlightening and great to sing along with! Many were familiar from Vacation Bible School. I was looking for a CD that would 'bring the music home'. These CD's travel from car to house and back again every day. You will not be disappointed!

Uplifting, encouraging, and enriching listening experience
It is unfortunate that Paige Lagrone from Amazon.com gave such a poor review of this collection, because it DOES help the listener "feel the power" of God's love, strength and encouragement. Just as the other three collections live up to their titles, this one delivers what it promises - spiritual strength to go out be a testimony to the love of Christ.
