Customer Reviews
not out of print
Amazon has listed this book as out of print and customers risk spending far more money than the $29.95 cost of the book. Please contact OMERI for sales information and amazon to let them know they can still buy this seminal text for massage therapists.
Great tool for Massage Therapists
This book is a great tool for Massage Therapist. The information is clear and easily understood. Helps take the guesswork out of assessment of certain conditions.
I highly urge anyone that does therapeutic massage to own one.
Good for you, good for your client
I am a massage therapist and I also teach Sports Massage. Students don't escape my class without having the virtues of this book emblazoned upon their memories by dint of relentless repetition on my part. If you're interested in knowing what's going on with your clients' musculo-skeletal systems, you need to buy this book and use it. It discusses many and diverse disorders you will probably see in your practice; giving a description of the characteristics of the disorder, assessment information and suggested treatments. The charts and tables alone are worth the cover price. You will be more effective as a massage therapist, whatever your modality, with the information in Functional Assessment.
