My only complaint about reading Ender's Game is that I waited so long to do so. I wish I had stumbled across this while I was in high school so the impact would have been that much greater. Excellent storyline, wonderful vision of the world and characters that you feel for (even the giant!).

Real magic in a real modern world, and in Chicago!! Highly entertaining with a solid grasp of its own interal world view. Just the first in the series, but you will be craving more. The 10th book is out April 2008.

Excellent read for those who love vampires. Knight's "Vampire Earth" series gives the old vampire myths several twists of the knife in this post-apocalyptic storyline.
