Product Description

Natural Baking Soda Toothpaste with Propolis & Myrrh, Peppermint is used for brushing the teeth and gums while promoting oral hygiene. Baking Soda, Tried and True- What is baking soda? Baking soda is a simple compound (sodium bicarbonate), made from Sodium Carbonate (a natural mineral salt), water, and carbon dioxide. It is low in abrasion, yet cleans away plaque and stains surprisingly well. Its high pH helps neutralize plaque acids which may cause mouth odors. How do we keep it simple, convenient, and delicious? We combine the convenience of toothpaste, the simplicity of baking soda, and the goodness of natural ingredients. It's all there in our calcium base, with herbal extracts of Propolis and Myrrh, and natural Peppermint Oil for delicious flavor. And we did it without saccharin, preservatives, dyes, or artificial flavorings! Natural Flavor- We use natural Peppermint Oils for our unique fresh flavor. The 5 - Day Flavor Test- Tom's toothpaste is different from every other major brand because it does not contain saccharin, a synthetic sweetener 400 times sweeter than sugar. Your taste buds may need a chance to adjust to the experience of a natural flavor. Try this simple test. Use Tom's for 5 days. Then try your regular brand. We'll wager you'll stay with the clean refreshing taste of Tom's. Consumer Information- Most brands of toothpaste contain saccharin, preservatives, and dyes, ingredients you may wish to avoid. We believe you have a right to know what is in your toothpaste, where it comes from and why it is there. Compare our ingredients listed below with those on the back of any other brand and decide. Fresh Natural Taste5
There are people who don't want fluoride in their toothpaste, so Tom's of Maine produces fluoride-free toothpaste.
This specific toothpaste has a natural calcium carbonate base (mild abrasive) that cleans and polishes your teeth and removes plaque from the teeth and around the gums.

The flavors in this toothpaste come from a blend of pure spearmint and peppermint oils. This toothpaste is not artificially sweetened. Also contains glycerin (moistener), carrageenan (thickener), Myrrh and Propolis (natural resins for a clean, healthy feeling mouth). One resin is from the myrrh bush and one from tree resin gathered by bees.

Not tested on Animals.
No Saccharin
No Artificial Sweeteners
No Preservatives
No Artificial Color
No Artificial Flavor

The way toothpaste should be made!

The benefits while using: This doesn't "foam" uncontrollably like some toothpastes. You can brush and brush with no noticeable change in texture. The toothpaste sticks to your teeth unlike some toothpastes that just foam and slide off.

Great Brand and Wonderful Natural Products.

Fluoride free alternative, the tooth is out there4
If you want a great tasting, fluoride free toothpaste, which can be so hard to find in stores, this is a good one.
This one has no artificial sweeteners, colors, or sugar.
The fact that some toothpastes contain sugar is rarely mentioned but important, since sugar in toothpaste can of itself cause tooth decay.

Using a fluoride toothpaste increases your fluoride intake when some is swallowed (almost unavoidable) and especially when children use it.
In school I wrote a thesis called, "The Effects of Fluorides on Living Enzyme Systems".
To sum up, I could not find a single enzyme system, plant or animal, which fluoride did not inhibit, or effectively poison; and that is scary.
