Great neutral color, washes well. This is a MUST HAVE for your newborn. I don't think my baby spent much time not in this blanket. He loved it through his first four months.

I listened to this music when I was a kid and loved it. Whatever you do, get some kind of lullabye music for your baby. It'll get use for years to come. Personally, I like the ones with singing so I can sing with while rocking my baby.

After the "fourth trimester" covered in Happiest Baby on the Block, this is the next book. I learned things that help my own nap schedule in addition to helping my baby get the best sleep possible.

Awesome book! It's gets into the scientific detail of how your brain, eyes, and ears function, but I find it easy to skim (or pass altogether) those pages and go right to the case studies. This book also has great information every mother who worries about their prenatal care, should know.

Love this tub! My son enjoyed it well past his first birthday and it was easy to clean and fill. It was a perfect fit in my sink and it held water no problem. The heat-indicating stopper was also nice.

IT IS POSSIBLE to breast feed without the pain. I didn't believe it until my second baby, when I used the information in this book. I loved nursing my first baby, but I wasn't looking forward to the toe-curling pain. This book had the straight-forward guide I needed to make breastfeeding work. Forget the guide that the free Lansinoh packets come with and read this book!

This wonderful toy is still a favorite of my son. He is almost 18 months and has been using this since he was 4 months. He's loved all the fun toys he can spin around and play with, and of course the jumping! It has a stable base and is easy to clean. I can't tell you how deep my affection is for this thing.

Fun little bouncer has a light display in addition to the moving parts. It also vibrates whether or not the toys are attached. Bouncers allow you to keep your baby safely confined wherever you go.

The newborn Huggies are wonderful if you're sensitive about the baby's cord care. I have used Huggies and Pampers, and Huggies wins. Great diapers.

Great for encouraging moms to give the potty a chance! Your child knows very early on when they need to "go" and you can help them be happier and cleaner. And going on the potty means no diaper rash! Yay!

At 6 months, my baby sat in this potty regularly and very happily. It held him up and kept it all in. We used it until he could get off and crawl around.

Burt's Bees makes heavenly baby care items. They smell soooo good. The powder is talc-free and their diaper ointment works well. The buttermilk bath keeps their skin soft. The shampoo bar I use as more of a soap bar because the suds do sting your kid's eyes. They do sell the tear-free shampoo/body wash which I love.

I told my friend about this wrap and she actually bought TWO! cheaper versions until she broke down and got this one. The fabric is perfect (it doesn't roll and has the perfect stretch to it) and the online videos showing its uses are a great bonus. I put this on before going anywhere and simply slip baby inside when I'm out. LOVE it!

I own Graco, but I don't think brand is a big deal. The important part is to have a set that fits together. I like the infant car seat with a base that allows you to quickly click the carrier in and then out to take it with you. You don't need to disturb a sleeping baby getting them in and out of the car!
