Soft, wonderful.

I LOVE these! I did a lot of research before deciding on these and they were/are well worth it, even though we also practice elimination communication. My husband wasn't excited about cloth diapering, but he loves these too and they are so easy that other cargivers could use them as well without having to "learn" cloth diapering, like they might with a Prefold.

These work really well. I had several friends who stopped cloth diapering because of leakage issues. I've never had a leak. These work very well with Kissaluvs and with the Prefolds.

Great changing pad. Comfortable, easy to clean, and you can mount it to the top of a dresser. While you can just change your baby's diaper on the bed, you will be changing enough diapers that you will want to save your back (and your bedspread). Don't bother with the cotton covers. Just throw down some prefolds and then you don't have to wash the cover every time you get a little pee on it.

This is what I used for outings with cloth diapers, and like the larger bag for at home, it works great.

Great for the car. Just keep it in there at all times.

Really, really cute and practical. Keeps those legs warm without pants (making diaper changes easier as well as elimination communication easier). Get several pair after you know the sex of the baby (which was on her birthday for us!).

I used this quite a bit the first 4-6 weeks and really appreciated the pillowed support. That being said, it has sat in my closet ever since. Supposedly you can use it with your baby for other things, but I haven't gotten any other use out of it. However, anything that makes breastfeeding easier in the beginning will increase your chance of continuing, so....

If you are breastfeeding, this is the Bible. Read it in advance, and reference it often those first few months.

We didn't get the deluxe version of this, but it was a nice set and had more than we've even used. It's economical and the nail clippers and thermometer are great.

This was a wonderful way to celebrate and remember my pregnancy. It was both easy and fun to do, although you will need another person to help you, especially if you decide to capture more than just your belly.

Really wonderful pregnancy and birthing book. Most books either made me feel paranoid about all that could go wrong or seemed like they were all the complaints women have. This was a celebration and a reminder to trust your intuition.

This is a great all-around parenting book for birth through 2 years. You will reference it often and for many random things. It is AP affirming.

This will greatly aid you in making decisions about vaccinations, whether you do or don't. It is quite compelling and quite thorough. It also has wonderful resources on home treatments for everything from chicken pox to whooping cough, if you choose not to vaccinate or selectively vaccinate.

Great, small wooden toy. She loves it. I recommend anything by HABA. You will welcome it amidst the sea of plastic toys you will be given by well-meaning friends/family.

I love this cod liver oil and swear it is what finally got me pregnant. I took it during pregnancy and I have continued to take it while breastfeeding and believe it helped balance out my hormones following birth.
