Customer Reviews
It's a great pan, You just have to follow a certain routine.
I have quite a few sets of the green pans. I bought mine under Todd English's line in HSN. Same pan, same technology just a different face to represent the line. Okay, I have had the majority of mine since the beginning of 2008. I have the frypans, the pots, two different grill pans, paella pans. They all work, and I don't experience any of the negative comments I've seen. Now I've read these reviews and decided to comment just because the one thing I see that everyone does differently than I do is the startup at use. Ok. I followed directions and did the seasoning of the pan when first purchased. Afterwards each time that I cook with them I definitely heat up the pan first, get it nice and hot (usually medium high), then if I cook with oil then I add it to the pan, and heat that up, once it's hot, then I add food. I don't experience the sticking. I usually just rinse off the pans afterwards and I'm done. I also never use metal utensils.
Hope this helps all those with the pans.
Great Green Grill Pan
I've been loving using this grill pan! It heats evenly and cleans up very quickly. The pan is quite large and the sides are steeper than my old one, which I like better when adding liquids. Currently we have a flat top range and it sits level on the surface... not wobbly or warped. Do follow the directions for maximum pan life... let it cool before washing and don't use forks or anything that might scratch the surface while cooking. It's a great pan and it is made to be much safer than the non-stick coated pans... a nice bonus!
Looks nice but does not clean easily.
This is a disappointing product. I really wanted a nonstick pan that was nontoxic. Unfortunately, many foods stuck to this pan and were hard to clean off.
